The mayor of Yerevan introduced the new head of Arabkir administrative district
SOCIETY, Daily news | ankakh | January 11, 2011 20:26On January 11 the mayor of Yerevan Karen Karapetyan introduced to the staff of Arabkir administrative district the newly appointed head of the district Eduard Musheghyan. The mayor thanked the former head of Arabkir district Hamlet Margaryan for his activity pointing at the same time that the new head is expected to perform coordinated, efficient, exemplary and caring activity. As an important for the administrative district work to do Karen Karapetyan emphasized the inventory which includes the assessment of the present state of social problems of the population, of blocks of flats, condominiums, educational and cultural centers, parks, streets, yard areas.
“If we are able to draw accurate picture of the state of the administrative district and assess it we shall be able to manage efficiently. The function of the administrative district is to create more convenient conditions for the population and the legal entities operating in that area”, said Karen Karapetyan and added that « the administrative district should be open and should clearly know the needs of the residents. The administrative district should be able to foresee what problems may arise in the nearest future».
The mayor said that he would claim monthly reports from the heads of the administrative districts emphasizing that the improvements in the activity of the City Hall, the administrative districts and condominiums are necessary.
