“Kinoashun” was Confined: The Program will Become Traditional

November 10 at the Moscow Cinema concluded “Kinoashun” National Month program.
Thirty days on the open and closed film hall show and loved the old Armenian films, again the voice sounded familiar characters.
“Kinoashun’s” framework was not only film shows, but also held round-table discussions on issues of cinema, as well as old and new Armenian films review contest.
The competition was presented 17 works, mostly students, were published the names of the winners, and prizes were handed over “Kinoashun” a solemn closing ceremony.
Famous film master David Muradian, who was the chairman of the competition commission, highlighted one thing, the new names into film criticizing aspect. He underlined that time, especially the new film should speak about the new generation, who this time is thinking about language.
Within the framework of the “kinoashun” were celebrated Henrik Malyan’s, Albert Yavuryan’s, Mher Mkrtchyan’s, Robert Sahakian’s, Henrik Markarian’s, Suren Babayan’s, Gayane Martirosian’s, Levon Atoyan’s jubilees.
National Cinema Center Director George Gevorgyan mentioned that this program will be continuous, because the aim of Armenian cinema back to the people, restoring the Movie and good old tradition, is fulfilled.
“Our expectations justified, even we did not think that would be so lively and so spectators will have,” he said.
Let us also mention that the project at closing film area more representatives participated than were present at the opening ceremony.
“It’s normal,” said film master Suren Hasmikyan, sleeping situation is gradually awakening.”
For actively covering “Kinoashun” “Ankakh” weekly was awarded by a special diploma.
