According to the Point 6 of the Article 36 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia about Prosecution the prosecutor of the region is appointed by the General Prosecutor from the persons who are included in the list of promotion of prosecutors, if the qualification committee gives a positive conclusion to appoint that person to the appropriate office.In case of being appointed, the person is ommitted from the list of promotion of prosecutors by the General Prosecutor.
Additional information on appointing the prosecutor of the region shall be provided.
