A free visit to the Museum of Yerevan History

In the frames of the program of free season tickets for theatres and museums for the pupils of the schools subordinated to the municipality of Yerevan about 70 pupils of secondary schools № 4 and № 52 visited Yerevan History Museum on March 2.

By the program agreed with schools, according to the established schedule, the pupils of 3-6 grades of the schools subordinated to the City Hall will visit Yerevan History Museum each Wednesday and Thursday.

“We are sure that the pupils will visit both theatres and museums with pleasure. Getting education doesn’t mean only studying subjects at school: It’s important to strengthen theoretic knowledge by means of didactic materials. The aim of this initiative of the municipality is to bring the children closer to the true art, to strengthen love and belief to the national values. Pupils should get cultural education as well”, noted the head of Education Department of the City Hall of Yerevan Gayane Soghomonyan.
The excursions at the museum are held for the children in the way of games or game-lessons depending their age. Pupils have opportunity to learn the history of Yerevan from ancient times up today.
