The right of the citizens for land use is rehabilitated

On February 23 about ten residents of Silikyan and Charbakh quarters of the capital were invited to Yerevan City Hall to get the decisions of the mayor of Yerevan related to the execution of rights for their plots.
As far as in the 1990s plots in Silikyan, Charbakh quarters of Yerevan and in the territory of former “Haghtanak” village were given to about 1300 families. During the last period the State Committee of the RA Government Real estate Cadastre received applications from the residents of the mentioned areas and accomplished state registration.
Since 2005 up today the solutions for land allotting bases restoration and issues of plans for the plots were given only in particular cases. To regulate the problem, according to the current legislation, it’s necessary to have the decision of Yerevan mayor and the general plan of the plots. Taking into account this circumstance, on the instruction of Yerevan mayor Karen Karpetyan the process was restarted from February 7, and the citizens connected with the issue were notified about it.

The activity of appropriate commission created on the mayor’s instruction to organize the process is coordinated by Deputy Mayor Vahagn Arakelyan, who handed the residents the corresponding decisions of the mayor, on basis of which they can get the certificate of the right for property. Within the two-week period about 30 families applied to the municipality. “The solution to the problem of the rest 20 families is also in the process at the moment. We should finish the process as fast as possible. The problem is that not all the residents have applied, we are waiting for the applications to respond in accordance with the applications”, noted Vahagn Arakelyan.
He also added  that the process is continuous and assured that the municipality does everything possible to give the applications fast and justified answers. In case of refusal the residents will be given the reasons for the refusal by a thoroughly justified and explained responds.  In accordance with the data of the commission, the problems of about a few hundred families need to be solved. The legality of land allocations in “Haghtanak” village the commission will study separately and make appropriate proposal within 3 months.
