A package deal in the sphere of parking areas management and city lighting
SOCIETY, Daily news | ankakh | February 9, 2011 14:31The issues related to the cooperation in the sphere of parking areas management and city lighting were discussed during the meeting of Yerevan mayor Karen Karapetyan and the delegation headed by the Chief manager of Austrian “SWARCO” company Albin Leismuller. Having thanked for warm welcome, Albin Leismuller noted that the company is ready to offer a package of advantageous cooperation with the municipality in the mentioned sphere, as well as in the fields of advisory, design, investment and management systems.
In his turn Karen Karapetyan introduced the guests the programs included in the new capital transport management conception, pointing out the approaches to parking areas regulation, video cameras installing in busy parts of the capital and new traffic schedules elaboration.
At the same time the mayor noted that in the future in public transport traffic the priority will be given to buses. “The problems of external lighting and public transport management and security are of primary importance. We are ready to discuss any proposals and promote their implementation”, emphasized the mayor.
