The mayor of Yerevan met the representatives of foreign embassies, international donor organizations and NGOs
SOCIETY, Daily news | ankakh | January 26, 2011 14:41On the initiative of the leader of OSCE Yerevan office Sergey Kapinos the mayor of Yerevan Karen Karapetyan met with the representatives of a number of foreign embassies in the RA, of functioning in Armenia offices of international donor organizations, of non-government organizations.
Greeting the guests Sergey Kapinos expressed a hope that the cooperation between the City Hall and the foreign structures functioning in the RA will be constructive. The latter expressed his willingness to promote by all possible means the initiatives implemented by the City Hall. Karen Karapetyan represented to the participants of the meeting his approaches related to the elaboration of a new effective model of the capital management, spoke about the programs provided for different spheres of city economy, about the introduction of new culture of management, providing of an attractive business environment and a favourable investment field, about problems of transport management, the creation of the electronic passport of the city and a number of other issues, which are the most important pre-conditions of the city development.
The mayor highlighted the importance of any progressive experience exchange and noted that the municipality is ready to consider acceptable proposals related to the staff training, advisory services and experience exchange.
