Armenian parliamentarian elected chairperson of PACE commission
Politics, Daily news | ankakh | January 24, 2011 16:38Republican MP and member of the Armenian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Hermine Naghdalyan was elected this morning Chairperson of the PACE Commission on Economic Affairs and Development.
Two candidates were nominated for the position, Naira Zohrabyan, member of the Armenian Delegation to PACE, told Tert.am.
Gaining an advantage of 4 votes over her contender, a representative of the Italian delegation, Naghdalyan was elected a commission chairperson.
She will hold the office for one year.
