U.S. Armenians cancel Turkish singer’s performance during basketball match
Official, Daily news | ankakh | December 25, 2010 22:10Turkish singer Sinem Saniye’s performance during LA Clippers-Phoenix Sans basketball match was cancelled at the last moment.
“I think the Armenian diaspora played a role here,” Saniye said in an interview with Aksam agency.
The Turkish singer stressed she had been living in U.S. for 3 years. However, it was the first time her nationality prevented her from performing.
“In any case, one of my good friends is Armenian, the other is Greek,” Saniye stressed.
