MINING INDUSTRY SHARE IN ARMENIAN STATE BUDGET ONLY 1,37%

Total return from the proceeds to the state budget of Armenia from larger mining companies developing poly-metallic mines and exporting gold, copper, molybdenum, zinc and other ferrous and rare metals makes up only 1.37% from the revenue. In 2010 the revenue was determines as 742 billion AMD (nearly 2 billion USD).
Zangezour Copper and Molybdenum Combine paid 6,337,128.9 million AMD or 17,6 million USD into the sate budget and takes line 8 in the list of the biggest tax payers. “Deno Gold Mining” Company paid 1,490,090.1 AMD or about 4 million USD and holds line 42. “GeoProMining” Company paid 953,162.5 million AMD or 2,648 million USD and takes line 63. Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine paid 723,593,7 AMD or about 2 million USD and takes line 83. Akhtala Ore Processing Combine paid 310,194,9 AMD or 861,652 USD thus holding line 210.
