Doctors saved Armenian attacked in Krasnodar
People, Daily news | ankakh | December 16, 2010 2:41Bagrat Asatryan, a 16-year-old Armenian attacked in the Russian city of Krasnodar, has become conscious, his father Samvel Asatryan told Yerkramas, newspaper of Russia’s Armenians.
The incident occurred while the young man, Russian citizen of the Armenian origin, was walking with his Russian friends in the center of the city.
He was attacked by 15-20 young people who beat him with clubs and knifed him 12 times when he was lying on the ground. They calmed down only when Bagrat pretended to be dead.
Armenian was taken to hospital where doctors managed to save his life.
An investigation has been launched.
