The experience of cooperation was highly evaluated

From December 6-8 the delegation headed by the Prosecutor General of Armenia Aghvan Hovsepyan participated in the meeting on “Joining Forces Towards Development Effectiveness Through a Global Alliance to Combat Corruption” organized by the World Bank.
During the visit to Washington the Prosecutor General of Armenia had meetings with the high-ranking officials of the US Department of Justice discussing the issues on cooperation. The positive experience of cooperation was highly evaluated and it was agreed to develop the cooperation by discussing its legal mechanism, in particular the issues concerning the possibility of signing bilateral memorandum.
During the visit the Prosecutor General also had a meeting with the World Bank’s Vice President Leonard McCarthy outlining the ways of cooperation development which should be discussed during Leonard McCarthy’s visit to Yerevan in the spring of 2011.
