The ex-president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan sued the newspaper ‘’Zhamank’’, accusing the periodical of defaming the Kocharyan family. The editor-in- chief of ‘’Zhamanak’’ Arman Babajanyan noted in his speech with the NEWS.am reporter, that the Kocharyans try to create a financial deadlock for the newspaper.
According to him, R.Kocharyan demanded that the newspaper should deny the information printed by the newspaper. The editor mentioned that the Kocharyans thought their reputation double-damaged after the publication plot was republished in the text of denial.
I have already invited a few lawyers to find out why they think their reputation has been damaged. We have started to prepare objections, said the reporter, adding that the objections should be sent to Center and Nork-Marash general jurisdiction courts.
