Ivorian Authorities Banned the Broadcasting of Foreign Television Channels

Ivorian authorities under the leadership of acting president announced the suspension of broadcasting of foreign television channels and radio stations across the country, reports
Al Jazeera.
Previously, it was announced the closure of the border. On Thursday the head of the country’s electoral commission declared opposition candidate Alassane Ouattara won the second round of voting, but the Constitutional Court declared the election invalid.
U.S. urges all political forces in Côte d’Ivoire to respect the outcome of the presidential election, reports Reuters.
