The Prime Minister Took Part in an Exhibition of Works Devoted to 2150 Anniversary of Tigran the Great

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan at the National Gallery of Armenia participated in the opening of an exhibition entitled “One job” devoted to 2150 anniversary of Tigran the Great. Events devoted to 2150 anniversary of the Armenian king, held under the high patronage of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The event was attended by Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian, the leader of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan.

Head of the Government bypassed the exhibition and acquainted with the works of 84-x Authors: pictorial and sculptural works, as well as brought from Artsakh Tigranakert material excavation. The work, which will be chosen after a competition among the showcased works that won a silver commemorative coin “Vardges Surenyants – 150.
Responding to questions from journalists, Tigran Sarkisian said: “Noting today 2150 years of Tigran the Great, we have to once again reveal its importance to our nation and its history. Speaking of Tigran the Great, we are referring to a common vision of the Armenian people, the idea of a powerful, powerful country, which has always been associated with Tigran the Great. ” Tigran Sargsyan stressed that the example of Tigran the Great has always inspired the Armenian people in their struggle for restoration of their statehood. “It’s a potential that has always inspired the people of Armenia to restore their independent statehood, and finally, thanks to this dream, this potential we have achieved success. In general, studying the history of Tigran the Great, we can see that it consists of many episodes that are still relevant today. “The Prime Minister also highlighted the fact that the excavation is in the city of Artsakh Tigranakert engaged Armenian specialists.
