Elizabeth II Wore the Hijab and Went to the Mosque

Queen Elizabeth II arrived yesterday in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi. Thus began her five-day tour of Persian Gulf countries.
Immediately after the Queen and Prince Philip went down off the plane, they visited the mosque of Sheikh Zayd, one of the six largest mosques in the world, able to contain as many as 40,000 believers, reports NEWSru.com.
The mosque is named in honor of Sheikh Zaid ibn Sultan an-Nahayan, the founder and first president of the United Arab Emirates.
