The Answer of the Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian during the Questions and Answers session in the National Assembly 17 November 2010
People, Daily news | ankakh | November 17, 2010 20:11| Question: Mr. Minister, the leadership of Turkey is stating that the negotiations, contacts with Armenia still continue, about which a few days ago the President of Turkey said on his way back from Turkmenistan.
Answer: Armenia has not conducted and is not conducting any new negotiations with Turkey. If the Turkish side is sincere in its wish to normalize the Armenian-Turkish relations, then it needs to make one clear step – ratify and implement the agreed and signed protocols without preconditions and without further ado. That is not only our, but also the international community’s position. If Turkey stands against this position and fails the process, then the Turkish side will carry its full responsibility. |
