Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has decided not to be limited to a visit to Israel’s northern border, and now intends to visit the south. Recall that last month the Iranian leader has visited Lebanon, and now, reports the 2-th channel ITV, plans to visit Egypt.

As reported by the Iranian and Egyptian media, with high probability it can be argued that the first-ever visit by the Iranian president to the country of the pyramids will be held in March 2011. Ahmadinejad is going to visit the Islamic Conference, which next year will be held in Egypt.

“Egypt will send out invitations to leaders of all Muslim countries including Iran,” – said Monday, Nov. 15, an Egyptian diplomat. He added that the invitation refers only to participate in the conference, and does not apply to foreign policy issues.

True, some media outlets believe that the invitation was just reflects the thaw in relations between the two countries, the relationship between them was interrupted almost 30 years ago. This assumption is evidenced by the fact that recently resumed regular flights between Cairo and Tehran

It is planned that the conference will be held in Sharm el-Sheikh, the city, from which virtually overlooks Israel.
