15.11.2010 RA National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan Meets with the Pupils of the School of Azatamut Village of Tavush Marz
Politics, Daily news | ankakh | November 15, 2010 23:45On November 15 RA National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with the pupils of different classes of the school of Azatamut community of Tavush Marz, who were hosted in the parliament.
We’ll remind that during the working visit to Tavush Marz on November 2 of this year RA National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan has also been in the school of Azatamut village. Hovik Abrahamyan invited the pupils to visit the National Assembly, to got acquainted with the works of the parliament and take part in the sitting. The head of the parliament also gave a computer and books to the school as presents.
Greeting the schoolchildren the Speaker of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan noted that Azatamut and its residents were very close to him. Hovik Abrahamyan noted that within the framework of the Open Lesson programme the pupils of different schools being hosted in the National Assembly had opportunity to have a picture about the works of the parliament closely.
Hovik Abrahamyan introduced the structure, role and functions of the National Assembly, touched upon the NK conflict and the Armenian-Turkish relations.
The Speaker of the Parliament also talked about the pupils’ various questions, noting that all of us should do our best to make the country powerful, be united and lay our hopes on ourselves.
At the end of the meeting Hovik Abrahamyan expressed conviction that the friendship with the villagers of Azatamut would continue and expressed willingness to discuss every issue and support solving the problems.
The schoolchildren hosted in the National Assembly visited the session hall of the parliament and later their photo had been taken with the NA Speaker.
