Open Letter to the President: “Do not Mention Savings to Our Future Generation’s Welfare at the Expense!”

Dear Mr. President

We ask you to disaffirm temporary disability benefits on the draft law, which passed the third reading by the NA. We think after the adoption of this law will dramatically reduce the birth rate in our state should encourage birth rate, not make restrictions. We understand that state funds are scarce, but Do not mention savings to our future generation’s welfare at the expense, especially in the period when our country is in the birth rate is very low level in recent years, the citizens of a certain amount of financial terms have been protected because new jobs are created and whether these people based on little more than sure of their future and as a result are able to get married and have kids.

Of course, we understand that changes in the law are fundamental reasons, however, in our opinion, it is possible to find mechanisms to control more serious than people working in the due sum lessening, it is not fair that a person working for many years in the same jobs and receive higher wages, pay the high taxes, increasing state budget revenues, but becoming mother and temporary benefits during her welfare and are deprived of proper care of the child the opportunity. If there are those businesses and citizens who abuse the law that we think we can tighten it to set an example that this person is to receive compensation able only the case when at least 10 months before at least pre-birth, leave work to go to the same workplace, or many other ways but not in the employee’s account, which receives a high salary. In our opinion the high wages in Armenia providing organizations shall be also encouraged, i.e. they do not hide their income, do not perform shadow turnover, and after the adoption of this law goes beyond those who get 160 000 more will receive the same amount is 160 000 the receiver it is not fair because it individuals pay more taxes and fees.

Referred to the law goes into effect if women will have to go back to work to ensure their children’s current minimum cost, thus depriving the young generation and maternal kindness, upbringing. Any wife / mother / wants to give his children everything and the most good, which is very high heart unfortunately value has diminished in this case, budget and we all know that bought bad quality and cheap products as a result of the reduced volume of sales of consumer goods, the state will receive less taxes and eventually some people will continue to operate in the shadow, because the employees did not requirement that the salary of the right to count, write and pay required by law.

All developing countries are encouraged to increase the birthrate, and our government for some reason in contrary, doing everything so that people have little children, because this law after more than one child is no one no desire to have children receive minimal benefits instead of higher wages.

Taking into account the above circumstances, we ask you to disaffirm this law for the benefit of our state and our country’s future generation.
