NA Coalition Forces – Recognizing NKR

NA coalition parties have issued a statement which comments on the Heritage proposed a draft law for recognition of NKR delay the vote.
The statement notes:
“Armenia’s Republican Party, Prosperous Armenia Party and the Country of Law Party are convinced that the Nagorno Karabakh Republic is no alternative to international recognition of Artsakh people’s right to full self-realization of the dream of all Armenians and goal.
Defending the international recognition of NKR at exerted efforts and initiatives, we are convinced that the Republic of Armenia NKR unilateral recognition step at this point does not arise within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group in the negotiation process, the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, adopted a constructive stance, and support of the parliamentary coalition.
During the past 18 years, the Republic of Armenia has always interested approach the negotiation process, convinced that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict peaceful and just settlement is possible only in the fundamental principles of the OSCE fair and consistent implementation conditions.
At the same time, we are convinced that the Karabakh people to self-determination and their right to have the state is supreme value, for which the Republic of Armenia National Assembly is always ready to go to the most decisive steps if talks fail, endangering the basic rights and security of the people of Artsakh.
In case of failure of the negotiation process that we ourselves will organize NKR recognition step that supported it concerned any other political force initiative.
This is the ruling political coalition announced that they would not participate in the recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic on a draft law to vote.
