In the Ukrainian city of Kharkov at the boxing European Cup organized in the sports palace three representatives from Armenia were defeated and lost the bronze medals. 49 kg Hovhannes Danielian 2:9 was ultimately defeated by Ukrainian Denis Shkarbo, 81 kg Arthur Khachatryan 1:6 was ultimately lost to Russian Pavlo Bikov. While 52 kg Derenik Gizhlaryan refused to continue fight with Russian Gairbek Germakhanov.
