Around 900 Children Live in RA Orphanages

In seven of state and the three non-state orphanages of RA more than 900 children are currently living without parental care.
Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of family, women and children issues in children’s issues in the department section chief specialist Edward Israyelyan says that this year under the Ministry of the orphanage graduates 37 has become the adult, but, unfortunately, they are not provided accommodation: the global economic crisis, state budget funds was not prescribed.
Most of them live in temporary acquaintances or close friends. Israyelyan informed, the Ministry of Government presented a new project, which provides for children to resume the process of providing housing project means to children without parental care in other forms of support.
Alumni organizations, children’s tutelary ministry Armenian Relief Society organized with assistance to the professional orientation, training, meet basic needs, income provides financial assistance, scholarship allocation, provision of medical care and so on.
