President Serzh Sargsyan Met with Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Yeremych

Minister Yeremich is in Armenia for taking part in the Council of Europe “for the future of democracy” forum.
Serzh Sargsyan noted that Armenia attaches great importance to relations with Serbia, the development of the head expressed hope that bilateral efforts will be possible in the near future to form the necessary legal framework, strengthen the cultural ties, to support the business community representatives to communicate with each other online and discuss possibilities of cooperation. All this, as the President said, will also contribute to the development of political dialogue.
“Last year, the Serbian President Boris Tadich’s visit to Armenia during the discussion of bilateral issues had good reason. I’m glad that now we are of the same opinion that it’s not right to live only by the historic friendship. The Armenian-Serbian relations should be developed on the basis friendship,” Serzh Sargsyan said.
Serbian foreign minister stressed that not all relationships have a glorious past, like, Armenia and Serbia, said that according to President Sargsyan, and equally sure that the two countries have an obligation to build a future, not only talking about the past.
