Armenia’s Independence 19-th Anniversary Reception in Turkmenistan

On October 12 in the “President” Hotel in Ashkhabad Embassy of Armenia organized a solemn reception in Turkmenistan devoted to 19th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia.
The reception was attended by Chairman of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Mrs. Akja Nurberdieva, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of high-level representatives, accredited diplomatic missions and international organizations of Ashkhabad, leaders, military attachments, diplomats, representatives of large companies in Turkmenistan leaders, business circles of Turkmenistan, the Great Patriotic War veterans origin, many representatives of the Armenian community , Turkmenistan, Ashkhabad, Sunday Armenian School children and teachers of Mary and Turqmenbashi towns.
The Ambassador of Armenia in Turkmenistan, Vladimir Badalian maid the opening speech at the reception. Ambassador congratulated those present on the occasion of Independence Day and spoke about the Armenian statehood important inhyabitants the Armenian –Turkmen relations, history, and the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation importance of the work of all aspects for two states’ mutually beneficial ties.
Chairman of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Mrs. Akja Nurberdieva transferred Armenian people Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s warm congratulations and best wishes.
Akja Nurberdieva once again reminded of the historical roots of friendship of the Armenian and Turkmen peoples, age-old cultural ties, the new times of political, economic and other areas need to strengthen cooperation.
