63 human traffic facts identified, five criminal groups rendered harmless in 9 months in Azerbaijan

63 human traffic facts were identified and five criminal groups were rendered harmless and 29 criminals were disclosed in Azerbaijan in the past nine months, said Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, National Coordinator on Combating Human Traffic Vilayat Eyvazov in his report to the parliament.

According to the report, 13 people internationally wanted for human traffic charges were detained via Interpol. 43 are still wanted. 25 of 32 human traffic victims were sent to the refuges where they were supported to be re-integrated into the society. Two children were sent to the boarding schools, five to the kindergartens, 27 people received compensations and six people received compensation for damages according to the court decisions.

23 victims were taken away to Turkey, four – to UAE, three – to Iran.

115 illegal actions violating public morality were identified in the reporting period, 63 facts were identified and 71 people were brought to justice.
