There aren’t any statements yet, but speculation is rife, that the representative of the judo Federation of Armenia Aleksan Avetisyan is retiring. They say that the representative of the National Olympic committee of Armenia, the Leader of “prosperous Armenia” Gagik Tsarukyan is dissatisfied with the latest campaigns of our judoists, especially after they remained without any medals on the last world championship. However the reality is that there have been talks about changing the chairman of the judo Federation of Armenia for a long time.

By the way, Avetisyan is the former head of state sport organization of Armenia, and due to his efforts the judoists of our country have achieved unprecedented success and in the Armenian judo important events occurred particularly, for the first time the representatives of our country have become bronze prize-winners of the world championship, world champions and world cup champions, winners of international super tournaments…. By the way, on his initiative Europe and World championships among youth have been hold in Armenia. By the way, it’s not a secret that posts of chairmen of various sport federations began to trust exclusively the representatives of the “Prosperous Armenia Party.” We think that comments are excessive: That’s not interesting, but funny.

We are waiting who will lead the judo Federation of Armenia. Very soon we’ll know about it. By the way, Avetisyan told “Ankakh” magazine that he isn’t going to retire. He said he had recently come back from Alma-Ata, where the international seminar of judo took place, and taking exams successfully deserved the status of arbiter of high class, which gives right for refereeing in Olympic Games. By the way, he is the first international judge in Armenia.
