RA President Serzh Sargsyan signs a number of decrees on the occasion of 19th anniversary of Armenia’s independence

On the occasion of the 19th anniversary of independence of Armenia, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed a number of decrees. Particularly, with the president’s decree architect Levon Khristaphoryan was awarded with honorary title of honored architect of Armenia. Presidential press service told Armenpress that with another decree of the Armenian President, Gevorg Gishyan was awarded with the Order of Courage for personal courage displayed during implementation of his rescue commitments.
For state and public activity of many years Murad Muradyan was awarded with St. Mestrop Mashtots Order. For good work of many years Head of Secretariat of the NA Staff Tatul Soghomonyan has been awarded with Mkhitar Gosh Medal. Anzhela Tamazyan, head of the Conservative Gynecology Department of the “Center for Family Planning and Sexual Health” CJSC was awarded with a title of honored doctor of Armenia for outstanding contribution to healthcare sphere.
Chief Coach of the Armenian collective swimming teams, head of the Swimming Chair of the State Institute of Physical Culture, Candidate of pedagogical sciences, Professor Igor Safaryan was given a title of honored figure of physical culture and sport. Narine Balayan, consultant of the Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, was awarded with Mkhitar Heratsi Medal for good state and public activity of many years.
Vahram Shahinyan, III class state consultant of justice, head of the Department of Crimes against Man of the Justice Ministry was given a title of honored lawyer. Suren Arakelyan, deputy prosecutor of Lori province, I class consultant of justice, and Ashot Mkrtchyan, III class consultant of justice, were awarded with Mkhitar Gosh Medal.
