Armenian Foreign Minister receives co-chairs of OSCE Minsk group

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan received today co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk group Bernard Fassier, Robert Bradtke, Igor Popov and Andrzej Kasprzyk, personal representative of the OSCE chairman in office, who are in Yerevan within a regional visit.

Press service of the Armenian Foreign Affairs Ministry told  that the co-chairs presented to Edward Nalbanyan the results of the discussions with Azerbaijani and Artsakh authorities held the other day in Baku and Stepanakert. The head of the Armenian foreign political department said that the direct participation of the Nagorno Karabakh in negotiations over peaceful regulation is a necessity and will considerably contribute to regulation of the issue.

The instigations in the Azerbaijani-Karabakhi contact line, their possible consequences on the negotiation process and situation of the conflict zone were discussed during the meeting. The interlocutors also discussed the further tasks, the continuation of negotiations on the basis of the Madrid principles.
