24 thousand 792 children born in the Republic in 7 months of 2010

Twenty-four thousand 792 children were born in the republic in the first 7 months of the running year. Obstetrician-Gynecologist of the Mother and Child Department of the Armenian Healthcare Ministry Lilia Garyunova told Armenpress that the number of births in the republic has grown by 1049.
The Healthcare Ministry has inserted from July 1, 2008 in Armenia the system of birth aid certificates, connected with the activity of which periodically conducts a monitoring both in the maternity hospitals of Yerevan and provinces. Works are being carried out in the direction of increasing the competence level of pregnant women about free birth aid in the Republic.
