The signing of the Associative agreement will promote the development of the economic cooperation

The Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has accepted the Federal minister of the Austrian Republic on European and international questions Michael Shpindeleger today.
The Prime minister has expressed his satisfaction to the present level of the political relations between the Austrian Republic and the Republic of Armenia and has noted the importance of the activization of bilateral economic relations. The Federal Minister of Austria on European and international questions Michael Shpindeleger has mentioned, that the Government of Austria is interested in the activization of the cooperation with the countries of the Southern Caucasus.
Speaking about the course of the cooperation with the European Union, Tigran Sargsyan has underlined the importance of the program «East partnership» of the Policy of the European neighbourhood. As a prime condition of the development of the economic cooperation the parties have spoken of the necessities of the signing of the Associative agreement and of the Agreement on deep and universal free trade. The importance of the creation of favorable conditions for expansion of the investment field has also been mentioned.
The interlocutors have underlined the importance of the deepening of the cooperation in cultural and scientifically-educational spheres.
