Good state of health in summer: 8 advices

  • Summer brings with itself many positive emotions, however the heat becomes a real test for many people. Poisonings and problems with digestion in summer become frequent, and because of a heat many people feel badly, are weaker … If you wish always to feel well in summer and have a good mood, follow the following eight recommendations.

    1. Do not eat much. The use of a considerable quantity of meal forces our organism to spend more energy to digest the superfluous meal, instead of using this energy for more important processes. Besides, the overeating increases the probability of occurrence of excess weight, and, as it is known, it often becomes the precondition for bad state of health and problems with it. Experts recommend to eat only healthy food in summer for the satisfying of hunger and the maintenance of an organism with the necessary energy.

    2. Avoid a fast food, and also fat and heavy dishes. If you wish always to have a good state of health and good mood in summer, your food should be easy and balanced. Your daily menu should consist of 14-15 % of proteins (fish, fowl, dairy products etc.), 10-11 % of fats (vegetable oils are more preferable as they are easier acquired and they are more useful to our organism), and a considerable quantity of minerals, vitamins and other useful components with which karbohidrats are rich (vegetables, pasta).

    3. Drink a lot of liquid. It is necessary twice more liquid for our organism in summer, than in winter. The liquid considerable quantity is especially important for people who go in for sports, often do physical exercises and, in general, are physically active. On the average 2,5-3,5 l of water (or 30 ml on each kg of a body) are required to our organism in summer. But remember, that our organism receives a liquid also from fruit and vegetables. Therefore try not to drink too much water, otherwise you will sweat and feel strongly unpleasant weight in your body.

    4. It is necessary to eat five times a day in summer. If you have got used to eat three times a day, get a new habit slightly to have a bite during the period between breakfast and dinner, and also dinner and supper. Prefer fruit, vegetables and dairy products as they are useful, easily are digested and do not overload your digestive system.

    5. One day in a week eat only fresh fruit and vegetables. This day becomes “unloading” for your organism. For this time it will have a rest, will be cleared and will be restored. Choose such a day when you do not need to spend a lot of energy (for example, during the week-end, when you spend the whole day at home).

    6. Avoid the use of alcoholic drinks in summer. Alcohol dehydrates an organism, and it is dangerous enough in the heat. Besides, alcohol can cause strong sweat, what is a big loading for an organism as well. But if it is very much desirable to drink, prefer red wine, no more than 200-250 ml a day.

    7. Use only fresh products. This advice is very important, as in summer when it is hot, feed spoil faster, than in winter. It is necessary to be very cautious as the probability of poisonings is great in summer. When you buy food, certainly pay attention to the date of product.

    8. And at last, do not forget about the hygiene: during hot time microbes breed faster, therefore certainly wash hands before meal as often as it is possible.
