“The best sporting family” has started
The city stage of the competition “The best sporting family” has started today in Yerevan, which was preceded by the tournaments in all the administrative regions of the capital in which about 140 sporting families participated.
68 sporting families participate in the final of the City stage. Such an including was not recorded in the previous years: the chief of the Yerevan Sports Division Gevorg Engibaryan mentioned, that 23 families participated in this contest in 2009, but in other years- only 7-8 families.
The competition is between two age groups: the families whose children are 6 – 10, and the senior group containing families whose children are 10-14 years.
The Yerevan stage will be over on June 20, and the best trios of the two age groups will be determined, which, accordingly, will be awarded with 100, 150, 200 thousands dram. Then the most sporting six families of Yerevan will leave for the national stage, which will take place in July in Tsakhkadzor.
