Ilham Aliyev condemns Israel and expresses Azerbaijan’s support for Turkey

“We condemn Israel’s deadly attack on the Turkish ship carrying aid to the Gaza Strip and express our support for Turkey,” Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at the 3rd summit of Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Ciragan Palace, APA reports quoting Cihan news agency.
He also offered his condolences to the Turkish government and citizens on behalf of the Azerbaijani people.
“The security measures taken in the Asian region are a great part of the security measures taken in the world. Cooperation in this issue reduces current risks. We condemn every kind of terror. We should unite our efforts to combat terrorism and problems. Economic cooperation will contribute to this process,” he said.
