On the Armenian language and the literature from 11163 entrants only two persons (0.01 %) have received the maximum 20 points, and 65persons – 19 points. About 10 % has received unsatisfactorily.

The director of the Assessment and Testing Center Gurgen Khachatryan has informed about it to journalists today, adding, that pupils of authors of tests on the Armenian language and the literature also have not received good marks – only 16-17 points, as the tests were kept in secret.

According to G.Khachatryan, two working groups in parallel worked over tests, and they did not know whose tests will be at the examination, only the administration of the Assessment and Testing Center knew about it.

Khachatryan has not wanted to answer a question about the reasons of low marks on the Armenian language – excessive complexity of tests or educational level falling, he also has mentioned that in the near future the appeal commission will discuss and will make its conclusion. He has not specified, on what principles the appeal commission is formed, however he has mentioned, that journalists can offer the candidates if they know good specialists.

According to the rules, formed after official announcement of results of the examination the appeal commission during 3 days discusses the received applications-complaints and makes a conclusion.

For the justification of complexity of tests Khachatryan has given an example from the Russian reality where exercises of the 3rd degree of complexity are included in the written mathematics examination and the most difficult exercises are solved only by the most talented pupils.

Today some parents waiting for their children from the physics examination have mentioned that at a choice of the speciality children aspire to choose such specialities as not to pass uniform examination on the Armenian language.

“Children are afraid and avoid their native language. Everything is done so that children loved more and learn better foreign languages”, – Mrs. Anastasia says, whose daughter has received 8 points on the Armenian language.

Anastasia’s daughter has handed over documents on the faculty of oriental studies in the Yerevan State University. She has prepared with a tutor who has assured her, that at least she will receive 16 points on the Armenian language and the literature.

“The tutor says, that in the test, which my daughter has written, from 80 questions 20 were difficult and did not enter into the program”, – says Anastasia, adding, that with questions with ambiguous answers and difficult tests it is impossible to check up the real knowledge of the native language, – the specialist studies these themes during his whole life and knows each trifle, meanwhile children do not know what is out of the program as they are not specialists”.
