The elections of the National Assembly are to be held in Arcakh on May 23.

On May 23 regular elections of the National Assembly by general and majority electoral systems will be held in Kharabakh on May 23. According to the selection legislation of the republic of Nagorni Kharabakh 17 deputies of the National Assembly from 33 will be elected by the general electoral system, and 16 –by the majority electoral system.
4 factions participate in the elections by the general electoral system: “Free motherland”, the leader of which electoral list, consisting of 35 candidates, is the Prime Minister of the Republic of Nagorni Kharabakh Arayik Harutyunyan, the Democratic faction of Arcakh (32 candidates, the chairman of the National Assembly Ashot Khulyan), Armenian Revolutionary Federation (10 candidates, the assistant of the chairman of the charitable fund “Tufenkyan” Armen Sargsyan), the Communist faction ( 5 candidates, working nowhere Hrant Melqumyan).
In general 40 candidates are nominated by the majority electoral system in the 16-th constituency. By the way, in two constituencies (7 and 14) one candidate is nominated, who is the chairman of the National Assembly Ashot Khulyan and Gagik Ohanyan accordingly. Maximum 4 candidates are nominated in the 6-th constituency.
On May 23, from 8:00 till 20:00, the voting will be held in 273 constituency, among which 272 one –in the 16 constituency of Kharabakh and the first one in Yerevan, in the governmental building of the representation of the republic of Hagorni Kharabagh.
The primary results of elections will be summarized on May 24, till 14:00 by the majority electoral system, till 20:00 by the general one.
The representatives of the National Assembly and the Central electoral commission of Armenia will arrive in Arcakh to take the elections under order. In this commission, headed by the secretary of the faction “Republican Party of Armenia” of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov, are also included the members of the same faction Hakob Hakobyan, Rafik Grigoryan, Karine Achemyan, Artak Zaqaryan, the secretary of the faction “Prosperious Armenia” Aram Safaryan, Armen Rustamyan and Gagik Gevorgyan from the faction “Armenian Revolutionary Federation”, the secretary of the faction “Rule of law” Arcruni Aghajanyan, Anahit Baqhshyan from “Heritaqe”.
In the Central electoral commission, headed by Garegin Azaryan, are included a revolutionary member of the commission Hamlet Abrahamyan, the representatives of the faction “Rule of law” and of “Heritaqe” Sona Sargsyan and Zoya Tadevosyan accordingly, and also 5 other members.
