RA National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan Receives the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the RA Tian Changchun

On May 21 the Speaker of RA National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia Tian Changchun. Congratulating the Ambassador on the occasion of his appointment, the Speaker of RA National Assembly expressed conviction that it would promote the development of the Armenian-Chinese relations being at very high level.
The Ambassador of China conveyed to RA NA Speaker the greetings of the the Speaker of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Representatives of the People’s Republic of China Wu Bangguo. In his words, very good relations are established between the parliaments of Armenia and China, and the visit of the RA National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to China was a serious impetus for them, as well as for activating relations in other spheres.
Hovik Abrahamyan noted that despite the existing big distance between the countries, we should do our best to develop the relations in all spheres, for which there is a big potential. The RA NA Speaker proposed to hold business forums for activating the contacts between the businessmen of the two countries. He expressed his willingness as Speaker of Parliament for supporting in the development and enlargement of the relations.
