The inhabitants of Tavush region passed free flyurographic examination
SOCIETY, Daily news | ankakh | March 25, 2013 11:11On March 22-24 Youth Foundation of Armenia and Student Council of Yerevan State Medical University in Tavush region implemented the project called “Armenia without TB”. During the three-day project the inhabitants of the boundary villages (Aygepar, Chinari, Nerqin Karmiraxbyur, Movses, Aygedzor) in Tavush region were free examined by the flyurographic moving centers which were given by Ministry of Defence.
Vazgen Mkrtchyan, a member of Student Council of Yerevan State Medical University stated that a lot of inhabitants turned to them, who had cardiovascular health problems. Even there were people, who hadn’t visited a doctor during last 5 years. So the implementation of these kind of projects will be continuous especially in the region of RA.
In Tavush region there were also held seminars about the tuberculosis, about its treatment and preventation.
