Visible results of CRONIMET Charity Foundation Assistance Program to the Kapan Special Educational Complex N3

Cooperation with Kapan Special School N3 has started in 2011, when the Foundation donated New Year gifts, toys, games and winter cloth to the children living in the school. Since then several major project are being implemented. Particularly, from the beginning of 2012 we have provided the school with new computers and necessary network equipment. Further, classroom furniture in accordance with the school management request has been procured and provided to the school.
Starting July 2012, major renovation of the school building is undergone. The process is divided into two phases; renovation of the second floor (half of the floor) has been fully completed in October). The renovation of the full first floor is planned to finish in February 2013. The budget for this project is 77,116,425 AMD (~USD190,410). Also, we have provided additional furniture to the school for the newly renovated part. In general the total spending for Kapan Special School over 2012 totaled to approximately AMD 95 million.
Support to the Kapan Special School is to be further continued in 2013. Several projects have been discussed with the management and will be presented to the Board’s approval.
CRONIMET Charity Foundation has been established in June 2011 having its main goal of supporting children and people in need throughout the country. The Founder of the CONIMET Charity Foundation is the German CRONIMET Mining AG.
