Acccording to the operative data of the Defense Army

The cases of violations of the regime of cease-fire were registered at the contact line of the Armenian-Azerbaijani armies during the past week. According to the operative information of the Defense Forces, the vanguard forces of the Azerbaijani army fired on the positions of the Karabakh army using fire arms of different calibers. The firing was taking in place from several directions of the inhabited areas such as Chakhrl, Goradis, Ashag Seidamedli, Karakhanbeili, Marzili, Tahibeily, Bash Karvend, Shkhlar, Seisulan, Karmiravan and Jraberd.

The regime of cease-fire was violated in north-east, east and south directions of the frontier areas on March 29. The enemy was firing both from the automatic weapons and sniper rifles.

The vanguard forces of the Azerbaijani army fired on the posts of Karabakh Defense Forces in the directions of Ashag Abdurakhmly, Chakhrl, Ashag Veisali, Cheil Ler, Bash Karvend, Karakashlu, Yarmdja, Karmiravan and Jraberd during the third day.

The adversary’s burst of fire was taking place from various fire arms during the night of March 31 and the rest of the day. The Armenian positions located in the directions of Mehedli, Goradis, Kurdlar, Nusgherm Seisulan, Jraberd and Levonarkh came under the fire.

The vanguard forces of the adversary fired on the positions of the Defense Forces of Hadrut, Matuni, Askeran and Martakert using automatic weapons, mortars and sniper rifles in April 1.

The violations of the cease-fire in the South and North-East directions of the contact lines were registered last night and during the day today.

The activities of the enemy received adequate responses from the forces of the Defense Army for the period from 8th of March to the 3rd of April.

During the three months of this year the regime of the cease-fire was violated by the enemy forces 1088 times.  7648 bullets were fired on the Armenian positions using various types of fire arms during the period. In accordance with the operative data, the intensity of the violations of the cease-fire was the highest in March. 454 cases of violations were registered during the period. During the period, 2872 shots were fired and 2553 were done using various fire arms such as AK, AKM, 35 from ‘Black Arrow’, 193 from ‘SVD’ and 91 from mortar types ‘PK’ and ‘DSHK’.
