A new disgrace of the women’s national soccer team

The women’s national soccer team of Armenia participated in 7 games and lost in all of them in the qualifying round of the international championship. Our players infamously lost to the national team of Portugal with the score 0 to 7 in the city of Tocha, Portugal. After the first half of the game the host players had already been 5:00 ahead of our national team. The second half of the game saw two more victories of the Portuguese players who were able to score two goals into the gates kept by Anna Karapetyan. Edith Fernadish scored goals at 22nd, 49th, and 86th minutes of the game. Silva Rebelo (27th), Claudia Netto (33), Sofia Vierra (40), and Carole Coshta (44) each scored a goal too. Our players were able to score only one goal throughout the entire tournament. They managed to let through 39 goals into their own gates. Our national team will host the Portuguese one during their last game in August 28.
