A homeware company has sparked fury by encouraging fans to post nude photographs of themselves on their Facebook page to win a Valentine’s competition.
Scandinavian design brand ISAK has asked couples to upload images of themselves ‘naked or semi-naked’ in a tribute to their cheeky Viking cartoon characters Blossom and Bill.
The pair appear across their home accessories range in various states of undress.
But the competition has not been received well by Facebook users who have inundated the social networking site with complaints and have sent ISAK founder, Sandra Isaksson, hundreds of angry letters and emails complaining about the images.
However, Ms Isaksson has refused to give in and has retaliated by posting nude photographs of her husband and herself as part of the naughty campaign.
Ms Isaksson said: ‘We were trying to find the best lookalikes of our cheeky Viking characters Blossom and Bill, who are all about having fun and enjoying life and not taking everything so bloody seriously.
‘Next year we’ll go for full body nakedness, with all the flappy dangly bits wobbling about.’
