Raffi Hovannisian Embarks on Visit with Karabagh President, Armed Forces
Politics, Daily news | ankakh | February 7, 2013 18:00Yerevan—Having promised to recognize the Mountainous Karabagh Republic upon becoming president, Raffi K. Hovannisian left today for an official visit with MKR president Bako Sahakyan in Karabagh, where he will also meet members of the republic’s armed forces.
On his way to Karabagh, Hovannisian made stops in the villages of Verishen, Hartashen, Khndzoresk, Karashen, Khnatsakh, and Tegh in the Syunik region. Election violations were recorded in both Khnatsakh and Tegh, whose municipality buildings illegally advertised campaign materials and posters of Serzh Sargsyan.
