The planned decision along with the opinion is already introduced for consideration to the National Assembly. It is expected to be discussed from the 6th of April during the planned full session.

According to the data from Ministry Of Labor And Social Affairs, 3766 veterans out of the 3936 had not yet made use of the repayment program with the view of the deposited savings that they made in the former Savings Bank. The planned changes will require around additional 1 billion drams in order to compensate the savings deposited in the bank. The Deputy Minister Artiom Asatryan explains that, because the government does not currently possess information about the entries in the savings books of the war veterans, the calculations are based the average of 245000 drams to be compensated.
