The Deputy Prosecutor General mediated to bring the policemen who failed in their work to account

The Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia sent a written mediation to the RA Police to make an investigation and bring the corresponding policemen of Malatia Division of the RA Police to account.
On January 8, 2013 in Malatia Division of the RA Police a criminal case was initiated on the case of Ara Hunanyan’s murder prescribed by the Part 1 of the Article 104 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The latter’s body was found on the same day in the allotment called “Dalma Gardens”.
While researching the criminal case it was found out that on January 4, 2013 the citizen of Yerevan Hayk Hunanyan reported to the Malatia Division of the RA Police about the fact that on January 3 at about 2 pm his son left the house and did not come back. After getting the report the co-workers of Malatia Division of the Police only took a superficial explanation from Hayk Hunanyan, which contained the description of his son’s clothes and the day and the time of his leaving.
Besides the above-mentioned, no other activity was carried out to find Ara Hunanyan.
