‘Stop Smoking!’ Madonna Threatens To Cancel Concert If Her Fans Light Up
Worldwide, Daily news | ankakh | December 21, 2012 16:02The 54-year-old singer stunned fans in Chile this week when she threatened to cancel her concert if they decided to smoke.
Speaking to the crowd at Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos, who were waiting patiently in the rain for her to perform, she can be seen in an exclusive video on TMZ criticising those who had lit up.
“There are people smoking right now, ” the mother-of-four said into the mic. “No smoking! If you’re going to smoke cigarettes, I’m not doing a show.”
Her comments were met by gasps from the audience, along with a few boos, but this didn’t stop Madge from continuing.
“If you don’t care about me, I don’t care about you. Alright, are we gonna play that game?” she asked.
At this point the ‘Holiday’ singer must have spotted someone puffing away, and couldn’t contain her anger.
“You’re looking right at me while you’re smoking cigarettes like I’m a stupid f**king idiot,” she shouted.
Luckily, the US star decided to go ahead with the show and treated fans to a collection of her hits – but was probably keeping a close eye on them while doing so.
Madonna will wrap up her MDNA world tour in Argentina on Saturday, before no doubt spending Christmas with her children.
