Ukraine’s acting prime minister Mykola Azarov has good chances of staying prime minister, but everything will depend on whom he will bring to his team, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said.
“As for Mykola Yaonovich [Azarov], he is no doubt one of the best prime ministers and has achieved the best results in his work in various conditions. For this reason, he has a very good chance […] a lot will depend on whom he will bring to his team,” Yanukovych told reporters in Ashgabat on Wednesday.
On Monday, the Ukrainian president accepted the resignation of the prime minister and the entire Cabinet. The president also ordered the Cabinet to continue working until the new government is formed. Azarov and another seven government officials were elected in the October 28 parliamentary elections.
