SCIENTISTS have come up with an equation for the ideal Christmas tree
Worldwide, Daily news | ankakh | December 5, 2012 18:02The mathematical formula devised by researchers at Sheffield University says a tree 180cm (5ft 11in) tall needs 37 baubles, 919cm (30ft 2in) of tinsel and 565cm (18ft 6in) of lights. An angel 18cm (7in) high is needed on top in order to complete the perfect look.
The winning formula is being used by High Street favourite Debenhams to dress its festive window displays this year.
As Christmas nears, lights, decorations and the all-important tree will be top of the shopping list.
But getting the decorations just right requires a definite talent.
