A criminal case initiated on illegal entrepreneurial activities with the involvement of foreigners

In the prosecution of Armavir region a criminal case was initiated on illegal entrepreneurial activities with the involvement of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Particularly, according to the materials prepared in the Investigation Division of Armavir region of the General Investigation Department of the Police adjunct to the government of the Republic of Armenia it was found out that from 2007 to 2012 N. Petrosyan together with his relatives has realized entrepreneurial that is agricultural activities without appropriate state registration in the allotment belonging to him by property right, situated in community Talvorik.
In the implementation of work about 100 foreigners, especially citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan were involved, who lived and worked in the Republic of Armenia with violations of the law “On Foreigners”.
As a result of illegal entrepreneurial activities and not paying the levies connected with the foreigners’ stay in RA the organized group inflicted a particularly large damage to the state .
A criminal case was initiated according to the Points 1 and 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 188 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case was tasked to the Investigation Division of Armavir region of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
Note; Everyone charged with a crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
