STUDENT TRADE FAIR IN ETCHMIATZIN
SOCIETY, Daily news | ankakh | October 15, 2012 10:46On October 18, Junior Achievement of Armenia and the Mayor’s office of Etmitazin will hold a students’ trade fair at the vicinity of the Etmiatzin City Hall from 13:00 to 16:00 hours.
Over 30 student business companies from all regions will display their products for sale. The trade fair is part of the students’ educational experience within the frame of a program called
Entrepreneurship and Civic Activism for Young People, financed by the United States Agency for International Development.
Throughout the academic year, the students have learned the basics of organizing a business company including electing their management personnel, conducting a marketing survey, writing a business plan. The trade fair is the culmination of their educational process wherein they offer their company product to the consumer. The student companies will donate part of the proceeds of the sales to a charitable cause of their choice. . We invite all of you to come and encourage the students.
